Speech Therapy
Our school provides speech therapy services for students in Kindergarten and Year 1 to help them develop strong communication skills early in their learning journey. Each week the school's Speech Therapist works closely with teachers and students in Kindergarten and Year 1 to provide early intervention to ensure better outcomes in student's overall communication (speaking and listening) skills. Whole class sessions and small group sessions are conducted focussing on student's speech and language development. Sessions are engaging and interactive and are tailored to suit the specific needs of the cohort. Additional support is also provided through screener assessments for students across the school as needed. This is followed by discussions with teachers and parents regarding recommendations and supports for external services if required
