What SLSOs do

SLSOs support students in a variety of ways, both inside and outside the classroom. They may work one-on-one with students who require targeted assistance, assist small groups with specific learning tasks, or provide additional guidance during lessons to ensure students stay engaged and understand the material. Beyond academic support, SLSOs often help students develop important social and emotional skills, such as communication, cooperation, and self-regulation.
