Welcome from our principal
At Canley Heights Public School we take great pride in our vibrant and supportive school community. Located in the heart of Fairfield, with over 550 students, including preschoolers and those in special education, we celebrate the diversity that makes our school unique. Almost 90% of our students come from language backgrounds other than English, and many families are refugees. We are proud to offer strong EAL/D and Community Language programs alongside targeted literacy and numeracy initiatives to support every learner.
At Canley Heights, we are committed to educational excellence and high expectations. Our dedicated staff work together to ensure all students become confident, responsible, and curious learners. We focus on literacy, numeracy, and fostering a love of learning, while encouraging students to embrace their cultural identities. Our school has achieved outstanding results, including recognition for growth in Reading and Numeracy, high-quality cultural dance performances that have performed at a number of large scale, prestigious events, and an exceeding rating for our preschool.
